Built Different Cart Co. Maintenance and Repair 903 458 2311

Service

Battery service

Range that has quietly halved, a pack that takes all night, a cart that dies on a hill. Batteries are the single most common reason an electric cart stops being useful.

Built for a purpose poster

Testing first

The pack gets tested under load. A weak cell drags a whole set down, and replacing everything when one is bad is money wasted.

Replacement

New batteries fitted, cables cleaned and made off properly, and the charging system checked so the new set is not killed the same way.

Cables and connections

Corroded lugs and loose connections cost you range and heat up. They get cleaned and torqued as part of the job.

Covered

What that includes

  • Load testing
  • Battery replacement
  • Cable and lug service
  • Charger testing
  • Water and terminal checks
  • Electric system checks

Questions

Straight answers

Do you work on gas carts as well as electric?

Yes. Gas and electric, all makes and all models.

Can you come to me?

Mobile and shop, both. Call or text 903 458 2311 and say where the cart is and what it is doing.

My cart will not hold a charge. Is that the batteries?

Not always. A pack gets tested under load, and the charger and the connections between them get tested too, before anything is replaced.

Do you fit lift kits and wheels?

Yes — lift kits, all-terrain and street tires, and wheel packages, set up so the cart still steers and stops the way it should.

How old is too old?

There is no cut-off. One of the builds on this site started as a 2004 Club Car Precedent.

When are you open?

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
